The French are known for incredible gardens, fresh markets and wonderful food, year round. We will guide your meal—even without a passport. We will use Suzanne Herrmann Loomis—and her cookbook In a French Kitchen, as our guide, but the dishes will be easy, so no worries about the meal being fussy or time consuming!  This springtime menu, which will be ideal for entertaining, will begin with Cake au Jambon e Persil (Ham and Parsley Bread). The main dish will be an easy version of Poulet Roti à l’Estragon (Roast Chicken with Tarragon); who knew you could work such magic with a store bought rotisserie chicken! Hericots Verts Breton, where fresh herbs season the green beans, round out the meal. For dessert, enjoy Lemon Cake with Strawberries (Gateau au Citron et aux Fraises.)The French are known for incredible gardens, fresh markets and wonderful food, year-round.
